“Never man spoke like this man.”
His words were kind and good
There common people He made glad
The rabble understood.

His gracious words men heard.
The guilty dared not question Him,
By Him each heart was stirred,

He made the demons leave.
He told the waves to quiet down,
And sinners would receive.

With dying breath He prayed,
“Forgive, O Father, all of these,”
And on a cross was laid.
